Guilty Plea for 911 Calls



MANKATO-October 8, 2012-(KMKO)–A former Mankato man admits he was drinking and upset of his child’s custody battle when he called 9-1-1 numerous times on several days in August. 48-year-old David Zahler, who now calls Garden City home, admits he was intoxicated when in one case he demanded the phone number of the Mankato mayor.  He pleaded guilty to one misdemeanor count of making an emergency call when there was no emergency and was ordered to pay a $277 fine.
