MANKATO-September 26, 2012-(KMKO)-The Blue Earth County Board took up the ATV issue again yesterday. Commissioners passed an ordinance last month that allowed the use of ATV's and mini trucks on county roads. After learning the state requires permits, the board yesterday approved a plan to proceed with a plan to charge a fee for the permits. The Blue Earth County Sheriff's Office will be in charge of the permits, which will be required in 30 days.
