EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings have switched up their training camp schedule.
The team released Thursday their slate of two-a-day practices at Minnesota State University in Mankato, where they'll report July 26 with the first on-field workout the following day.
But this time, the Vikings will have hour-long walk-through practices in the mornings and put the helmets and pads on for a full 2½-hour workout in the afternoons.
There are 15 days of two-a-days this summer.
The Minnesota Vikings have signed defensive lineman Jeff Charleston to a one-year deal.The Vikings announced the signing Thursday. The 29-year-old Charleston spent the last four seasons with the New Orleans Saints serving as a backup. He had one sack in 10 games, and has eight in his five-year career.
Charleston started his career in Indianapolis in 2007.
The Vikings released defensive tackle Terrell Resonno to make room for Charleston.
