Thanksgiving week information for the city of Mankato and Mankato Area Public Schools

MANKATO -- The city of Mankato will be closed Thursday, November 24 and Friday, November 25 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. Garbage and recycling pickup will be affected:
 

Thursday, November 24
No garbage and recycling pickup
 

Friday, November 25
Thursday's garbage and recyclables will be collected
 

Saturday, November 26
Friday's garbage and recyclables will be collected
 

There will be no school for Mankato Area Public Schools' students in grades kindergarten through six on Tuesday, November 22 and no school for grades kindergarten through 12 from Wednesday, November 23 through Friday, November 25.
