Minnesota's Health Insurance Exchange



 MANKATO (TEC News) – Gov. Mark Dayton’s signature is the only thing needed to implement Minnesota’s health insurance exchange, which will make insurance coverage available to 300,000 Minnesotans and add 87,000 new members to Minnesota Care. However, there is a shortage of doctors to provide the care, and the health insurance exchange will create a bigger demand for doctors. Dr. Joe Sockalosky, Director of Medical Education at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics, said it’s a challenge to get doctors to Minnesota:
