MANKATO - July 26, 2012 - (KMKO)--The Salvation Army is an organization people can turn to when a crisis happens. Yesterday, the Mankato Chapter was awarded $50,000 from the Otto Bremer Foundation to help provide the vital support to Mankato's hungry, homeless and others facing challenges. This organization offers support to around 400 people every month and throughout 2012, the need has been rising. To volunteer, make a donation or for more information, call 345-7840.
