MANKATO (TEC News) -- A new parks superintendent was hired by the city of Mankato to oversee the city's 900 acres of parks and recreation areas. Mark McQuillan, assumed his position, arranging and coordinating the city's parks, green spaces and maintenance operations, yesterday. McQuillan's experience with the city of Shakopee aided in his hiring, said Mankato director of public works, Mark Knoff:
