MANKATO-September 24, 2012-(KMKO)-The Mankato City Council will deal with several issues this evening. During the 6:00 meeting, City Manager Pat Hentges will update the council on road reconstruction and the civic center. Mankato missed out on the capital improvement grant money last week, but council member Charlie Hurd says they will keep working to get state help for the civic center project. During the work session after the council meeting, members will talk about the Metropolitan Planning Organization and the capital improvements plan.
