MANKATO-August 22, 2012-(KMKO)-Todd Hoffner may be charged today for allegedly possessing child pornography. The 46-year-old man, who has been the head football coach at Minnesota State University, Mankato since 2008, was arrested at his Eagle Lake home yesterday. The Blue Earth County Sheriff's office says he's being held on suspicion of use of minors in a sexual performance and possession of pornographic work involving minors. Hoffner, who is married and has three children, is originally from North Dakota. He coached at the University of South Dakota for two seasons before starting at MSU. He was placed on administrative leave after being escorted off the team's practice facility on Friday. The university has released a statement saying an investigation is being conducted.
