Regis Philbin is going to retire at the end of the summer- No exact date but he made the announcement on today’s show with LIVE. After 25 years, he is stepping down! He is like TODAY”S Johnny Carson! What a great entertainer!
Late night TV is so crowded with “wanna be’s”- but let’s face it, the late night king was Johnny Carson. He made everything so funny and in the early days when TV was live, Man- what a talent he was!
Letterman is good but is getting a bit old and stale! Conan is funny but I never watch his show on TBS, I just never think about it. Craig Ferguson is my “FAV”- this guy actually adlibs his entire monologue. Now that is a real talent! No cue cards, just bullet points and he just makes it up as he goes.
