MANKATO (TEC News) – At a special EDA meeting held last night, the Mankato City Council approved two projects into a public hearing at a later meeting. A plastics company out of Lakeville was one of them. Imperial Plastics, owned by Norm Oberto and also based in Kasota, is looking to expand their business into Mankato with a facility that will add roughly 58 jobs. The council unanimously voted to have the request added to the Feb. 11th public hearing.
